We love this old historical inn. It's dated, but the rooms are huge for our family of four and each kid gets their own bed, plus it's not only dog friendly, being on the 1st floor (twice), we could easily walk our dog. Last year we we're able to use the pool, disappointed that it wasn't open during our stay this year. Clearly, it's been let go, but I know it has so much potential. A family friend stayed there for a conference in the 70's and told me how beautiful it was. I hope it can be restored to its former glory.
The hotel is very close to Stone Mountain (you can see the mountain from the parking lot). It is a pet friendly hotel, good free breakfast, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s around the corner from a lot of restaurants.
I liked everything. the room was very clean, carpets in the hall and room clean , smelling good. The bad and pillows very comfortable , breakfast very good and excellent location. The front desk girls are friendly, special Kimberly, always happy and smiling. I loved our stay there.
Bad internet, TV channels the worst! We were to stay two nights but just left and when home the second night. Paid $25 per night for our pet dog Mollie. Locked out of room on second day and when we did get back in, room had not been refreshed, beds not not made up and trash cans not empty,
WORST EXPERIENCE AND WOULD ADVISE OTHERS TO NOT DTAY THERE.
