Super friendly staff, very welcoming to us and our dog! Gorgeous pool (we didn't use, but very nice to sit by). Nice bar with food and they welcomed our dog there, too. Great location, lots of good food nearby, including coffee and bakery, same was also offered in lobby. Love the history and historical photos.
Well cared for historical hotel, updated on a regular basis. One of the key benefits is the soundproofing between rooms and floors. The location allows for grabbing a quick bite from a quality restaurant, many of which are within walking distance. The staff is helpful and friendly as are always ready to help. We visit here on a regular basis when visiting our family. Oh, and their prices are always very competitive :-)
Our first room had a sewage issue with a perpetual smell, so when we asked to either fix or change the room during the 2nd night, we were able to change rooms by the next morning, which we appreciated! Location was great too.
The staff were great and very informative. It was a very clean and calm hotel. They were pet friendly which was super nice and you can tell they kept the room super clean! Every time we walked into our rooms it smells fresh and clean!
Location is close to Home Depot, Restaurants, etc. Plenty of parking spots. Being Pet Friendly is a plus. Great ShabuShabu restaurant walking distance. Room was pretty big..
The place definitely looks better than the current pictures (2023). The floor is not carpet. The size is decent and the furniture is fairly new. The location is close enough to Downtown and not too far from San Gabriel/Rosemead/Monterey Park.
