It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

The property was in a very good location, right next to Xiding bus station which is 1hr from Chiayi station. You can also get to Alishan on another 1hr bus ride from there.
The property is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The shared bathroom is also very nice and the shared kitchen is well equipped with all utensils. There is also air conditioner in each room.
Beautiful place with amazing vistas of mountains and tea farms. It's centrally located so easy to explore the main Alishan recreation area and the north and south corridors. We enjoyed driving the mountain roads and exploring aboriginal villages. The host, Leon, speaks excellent English. He was accommodating and welcoming. Our room was in the newer building with incredible views from the balcony - especially at sunrise. Buffet breakfast served in an adjoining restaurant (also with panoramic views) was good. This place is a gem indeed!
Absolutely amazing stay. Spacious room with a couch, comfy bed, great sunrise view, free snacks (they were a godsend after commuting for so long), kind owners/staff and delicious breakfast and hotpot dinner.
The cherry-on-top was their sweet dog who guided/accompanied me all the way to Eryanping Trail including showing me where the public toilets were just before the start of the trail!
Nice hotel located close to the tea fields. We were not very lucky with the weather but still enjoyed our stay and managed to do a hike next day in the morning. I recommend ordering the dinner at their place at is it very tasty and beautifully presented. The dog Pan Pan was so cute, he walked us to the fields, he was one of the highlights of the stay :)

This was a family trip, we booked three rooms, all of them were spacious. It was quite cold in Alishan, but the hot water supply was very good. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the white Shiba Inu was in heat and had been isolated and taken down the mountain, so we only saw the other two dogs. The staff sister recommended us to go up to see the sunset, but unfortunately, due to the haze, we didn't have a clear view. However, the location of this homestay is quite good, and our room had a view of the sunrise. Overall, we were very satisfied.
Lovely view - close to eryanping trail & could see sea clouds at the location. Sunrise spot is also 7 mins walk away. 3 cute dogs led us to the location and waited for us to guide us back. Free breakfast had many delicious selections!!!! Not your typical free hotel breakfast. Owner made alishan high mountain tea for us to try, and she shared with us the history of tea and the hotel. Bed was comfy and room was clean. We loved our stay, so did our friends - taiwanese from Canada
We love the tranquility of the location. We were warmly recd by lovely dogs from the homestay. The rm was spacious n comfy for our family of 5. Breakfast was great for lacto ovo vegetarian👍🏻 highly recommended
