Totally unique. Unlike anywhere else I had stayed before. Beautiful, lovingly restored historical building full of beautiful details in every corner. The upper terrace boasts views across the plains of Mesopotamia and downstairs there is a cosy shaded courtyard in the lobby area. A really atmospheric and tranquil place for breakfast. We spent 4 nights here and would definitely return in a heartbeat. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, we really felt at home and gave us an unforgettable experience.

This is the place for you if you enjoy conversing with others, want a local stone room experience, and like to be close to all of the happenings. The host and his family are simply incredible. They were all very warm and welcoming and aimed to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The location is close to the main bazaar and anything you could need. The room provided everything I needed comfortably but what made this place exceptional were the owners. They are more than happy to give you suggestions on things to see and do over a cup of cay. They also offer a day tour/transport to different sites around the region like Dara. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from my time with them. My only regret is not staying longer.
