Absolutely amazing hostel. The family working there are incredible, could not have been more accommodating, booking tuktuks whenever and where ever we wanted to go. I was greeted by the full family, and given a delicious cup of tea and then decorated a krathong that was made by the grandma to take to the ancient city that evening. The sons English is very good and can definitely make life much easier!

As Old Sukhotai town speads with increased tourism, more and more options at=re opening up for places to stay... J -Safe is one of these.
Although not particularly near the main gate to the Historic Park, J Safe is just 300 meters form the iconic "Elephant" Temple which is outside the Park (and therefore free)
And as there is a bus stop just in front of the guesthouse, catching transport is no problem... whether going into the New Town or to the Old Towna nd the Historic Park.

This place is a gem that we were lucky to find! Great location, comfortable, clean, and all at an amazing price! We stayed here for 2 nights and loved our stay at the jungle bungalow/hut. A beautiful place submersed in nature. Our host was very helpful to us in giving suggestions for exploring around Sukhothai. Her dog Panda is very cute, friendly and we enjoyed its company at the porch from time to time. Grateful for the bike rental deal as well, which is very much enjoyed exploring Sukhothai with!
The room had a great space, bed and pillows were comfortable, great breakfast the coconut soup was even better than some restaurants, a really comfy space were the pool is located. You can ask for a massage it was really good and they go to your room so it’s relaxing and private, also you can rent a bicycle there and move around, just be careful at night in the Main Street are a lot of dogs and apparently they bit to some tourist.
Also the restaurant near the hotel do not taste good only has a good appearance.
The staffs are really nice and friendly. I stayed in the standard room on the 3rd floor, it was clean and the space was comfortable for 2 people.
The location is right next to a small food market; so you petty much got everything you need nearby.
Owner is very nice and friendly. The room was big with fridge and kettle what was very nice to have in the room. They provide bikes for free. We used them also in the evening because the accomodation is at the edge so you need to walk on a dark highway, there are no people so we didnt feel very safe just walking around mostly because of the dogs (we were 2 girls).
But location is very good, 10 minutes walk from Historical Park, shop and Bus station.
Stylish bungalows in a lovely garden setting. Clean, with strong wifi, spacious bathroom, fridge and aircon. Very nice and helpful host, also owner of the friendliest dog, Panda:) very quiet.
It's located a bit away from town, the distance is walkable, but it's a bit dark with some stray dogs on the way. Your best bet is a scooter or a tuk-tuk (grab wasn't available in Sukhothai).
Beautiful swimming pool, and well looked after house. Location was close to main street with amazing chocolate Roti cart just down the road.
The breakfast was fantastic, freshly baked bread, and generous helpings of everything.
Luc was a very friendly host, he gave us excellent recommendations for places to see and eat, and he took our kids to visit his pet goats.
We stayed an extra night in Sukhothai because we loved it so much here!!
The owner of this place is really friendly and helpful. Our bungalow was clean and really well located. If you love dogs, there’s also a really cute hotel dog Panda who will show you around the place. We rented bikes for super cheap and toured the historical park really easily.
