This is a lovely hotel in a charming and well kept building. The staff at reception were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and attractive and very comfortable and the location in town was just great -- in the charming old section very near to the cathedral and other attractions. Given the nature of my trip, this hotel had absolutely everything I could have wanted, and then some. Even travelling alone and on foot with a fair bit of luggage, it was very easy to get there from the central train station (which is quite literally a stone's throw away), my room was very clean and comfortable (and the perfect size), the food was plentiful and delicious (the hotel offered two complimentary meals a day, which I've never experienced before!), and the staff were all extremely professional, helpful, approachable, friendly, and accommodating - even after I'd already reached the end of my stay and checked out of my room (when they very kindly allowed me to store my luggage there for several hours while I did some last-minute sightseeing around the town). I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Uppsala.

Great value hotel. Breakfast was good with a lot of options and they even have some gluten free options. There's a nice common room and even a small kitchen with a fridge (and small freezer) and the ability to boil water. Location couldn't be more perfect. It's a short walk from the train station and the heart of Uppsala.
