Very cozy and nicely furnished hotel. The staff were nice, and the room was comfortable and had a good view. Parking in front of the entrance, and a good breakfast was also something I enjoyed. While the hotel didn't serve any hot food during the evening I was there, they had frozen lunchboxes for sale for a modest price. These could be heated in a common guest-area, which had a microwave, a fridge and pantry with utensils and a dishwasher available for use. Since Guldsmedshyttan does not have that many places to eat, this was a nice alternative for me during my stay.

Good parking and EV charge next to your door. Next to cross country ski area and not far by car from ski slopes. Nearby shopping and dining places.
