Friendly staff, plenty of showers and bathrooms, with two kitchens and two communal areas. You can even choose to book activities directly here if you want to. Another big plus is the fact that you can use the facilities after check-out if your train is in the evening. A nice and comfortable stay, 10mn away from the lake and less than 1hr from the national park too. Definitely recommend!

The hostel has a lot of corners to chill and just enjoy the beautiful view. The room was clean, bed super comfortable, breakfast great, the little shop in the building offers anything you might need - from clothes to a fika or some food for your meals. Easy to book activities in loco. The staff has been great! Very kind, always. I felt in love with the place and I would definitely come back. 😊

Great location close to the national park. The canyon at the park is a must-see! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Everything was just as expected. Perfect for a one-night stop when travelling between Finland and Norway.

The location of the Hostel is perfect! Walking distance to the train station, supermarket, lake and pathways for walking in the mountains, and the National Park. There’s also a Helipad where you can see the northern lights very near. The hostel offers a lot of activities and you meet many interesting people. You can also see/pet the huskies at certain hours!

Amazing location, experience, and freedom to wander. Great secluded place with transfers and options to get out, like skiing or snowshoeing. Their dogs are adorable and loud during the day! Fun reminder of where you are.

Affordable place to stay, and the sauna was great! Dormitory room was as expected, and you can socialize with other travelers. The kitchen was spacious enough but it is still better to avoid being there at the same time as other people. The supermarket is less than 10 minutes by foot. The lake is about 20 minutes by foot, it is probably the best spot to go to for aurora borealis. Dogsledding was a really nice activity, most of the dogs were friendly and love pets! The possibility to rent warm outfits is a nice addition as well.
