The staff - gave me a huge amount of help to arrange transport. The location is lovely, with views over the lake. Accommodation is simple but very clean and aligns with price. Food is good. WiFi possibly the best I had in Rwanda.

I absolutely loved Spa Shallum and would have loved to stay longer...The proprietor Isaac is one of the nicest people I have ever met and I now consider him my friend. The property is intimate and rustic with a beautiful view of the lake and only a few minute steps from the water. I had a WONDERFUL massage in the afternoon and Isaac arranged for a wonderful guide to take us out on a boat tour of the lake. YUMMY fresh squeezed juices for breakfast with a chappati omelette that hit the spot. LOVE this place and cannot wait to go back
