Nice quiet but buzzy hostel - great breakfasts, and nice (but small) cabins. There were nice communal areas where people often chatted and got to know each other, but it also wasn't a "party hostel" where you might be disturbed by noise etc. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Great location in the heart of Santa Catalina very close to all the usual tour excursions. Coiba tours, diving centers etc. Very short walk to beach. Attached coffee shop /bar. Shared kitchen area. Private bath It was quite comfortable for 2 nights.

While they advertise ocean views, there are only garden views from the rooms (except some suites). However, the views from the pool and restaurant and grounds are so incredible it didn't matter to us. The garden views from a hammock or sling chairs on your porch was just fine. Great location to walk 20 min to Estero Beach (a must!) (Mama Ines restaurant). Or 20 min to town (ATM). Coiba Vista Restaurant was great! Had the best Corvina filet I've ever had, and we've had lots. Expertly cooked. A 30 lb fish fresh was brought in the evening before. Excellent breaded chicken milenesa, juicy and well-seasoned. Spaghetti Bolognese was recommended by the next table. Good drinks like Pina colada (fresh-squeezed juice) and tequila tonics, but no top shelf liquors available. Isabella is wonderful! Cook, consiege, receptionist, friend, and info source. No kitchen. Good screens. Some barking loose hotel dogs. Spotty hot water, but warm enough. Next door restaurants: Jammin Pizza 5*, Gelato by the crazy Italians 5*, and Cocos for Gourmet meals and top-shelf drinks5*! To come and go: Hello Travel Panama! Excellent. Vans. Coiba Vista is an excellent value!

We had an amazing time ! The best place where you can stay in Santa Catalina with a direct access on the sandy beach :) Nice homes with air conditioning and private bathroom. The staff was AMAZING ! Really really helpful and so friendly :) Thank you so much Roco and Carlo !! We will definitely come back soon !!

Nice place, I love all the nature around and the facilities. It's close to the beach, 5 minutes far away. The price is really good compared the quality!

- The owners/hosts Juan and Chris are really wonderful, the way how they took care of my stay was really nice, much appreciation for their way how they showed their hospitality. - The fan and a/c works really good in the room - The wifi was super good, especially in a quite far-located place as Santa Catalina - The food, the breakfast, Juan's cooking is already famous and well-known for those who stayed in Hotel Iguanito, can confirm, but it's more the passion, the energy and his joy he puts in the food and dishes - Also the restaurant/breakfast area in the hotel, is also like a nice play to meet others - The energy and vibe that Juan and Chris gave to their hotel - I also appreciates how Chris communicated over WhatsApp, she was very caring, very good communication in pre-phase and during my stay - Also thanks to Juan's insights and people skills he connected me with some very nice people and probably some future travel buddies - I am a well travelled person, I have been in more than 70 countries, I have done booking, AirBnb and Couchsurfing (hosting people and staying with people) for so many years and for so many place - but it's in the end all about energy and the little things and this is something where Chris and Juan are really good at - I came for Santa Catalina to visit Isla Coiba, but it was closed, I was quite disappointed and with such a low energy, but the way how Juan and Chris changed that, was very nice, much appreciation and much thanks! :) - I can recommend them for 300%
