The host was amazing, very helpful, guided us to make sure we didn't get lost and even waited for us to take us right to the house. But the location... This is an absolute highlight. In the middle of nowhere, quiet (except for the goats everywhere, which I love), no parking problems. The room was spacious, with a nice table outside to enjoy some fresh air and breathtaking views.
There is no WiFi, but the cellular network works perfectly.

The location is great because in the middle of an old oasis and village. The very valuable thing of this hotel is that the owner (Abdulah) is on the premises ( while in most hotels the employees are indians), he knows his village and will take you through it and everything becomes so interesting and authentic !

The host was great, helpful and friendly. After my tiring hike took me to the restaurant by car and next day much further (to Bahla) than the standard drop-off point. He was also very knowledgeable about hiking routes. There is also a lot if information material available.
Room was spacious (even if it was full it would still be comfortable) and clean, so was the rest of the apartment. Kitchen is well-equipped. Views from my window were ok, nice mountain view, but also some building sites close by. Location was great for me, but it is not in the old Al-Hamra.
