The host was amazing, very helpful, guided us to make sure we didn't get lost and even waited for us to take us right to the house. But the location... This is an absolute highlight. In the middle of nowhere, quiet (except for the goats everywhere, which I love), no parking problems. The room was spacious, with a nice table outside to enjoy some fresh air and breathtaking views. There is no WiFi, but the cellular network works perfectly.

We had an incredible stay at the Sunset House in Jabal Shams. The host (Mr. Mousa) went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. When one of our cars broke down on the way, he personally came to pick us up and took us to the villa in his own car. After taking us to the villa located on top of the mountain, he went back, took the broken car to a mechanic, and had it fixed! Not only that, but he invited us for lunch twice and was constantly checking in to make sure everything was okay. His hospitality truly made our trip memorable. The villa itself was comfortable, well-equipped and super clean beds and rooms, and the stunning views of Jabal Shams added to the experience. Highly recommended!

The location is great because in the middle of an old oasis and village. The very valuable thing of this hotel is that the owner (Abdulah) is on the premises ( while in most hotels the employees are indians), he knows his village and will take you through it and everything becomes so interesting and authentic !
