Very comfortable beds, clean and warm. Bonus that it had a plug outside to charge our PHEV. Staff were friendly and the resident cat charming. Bathroom was spacious and had a plastic chair in it which was great for my elderly parents. The delicious home made shortbread on arrival was a bonus!
I stay here on every family trip as is dog friendly, clean, comfortable and cosy. The owners go beyond to ensure you walk into a cosy room no matter the time you arrive. Located perfectly to walk your dog to the domain, along the river or just into town.
This little motel is in great location but on a surprisingly quiet street. Stayed for one night only and loved that my dog could also stay with us. Owner was friendly, they even called us to say that we forgot our dog bed behind. Room is exceptionally clean… so other guests need not to worry about it being pet friendly and having doggy smell. It also has everything we need. Oh and the water pressure of the shower was great too.
Beautiful big house (love the entrance/reception), comfortable female 4-person dorm, and great outdoor terrace for that end of day sun. The kitchen is well-equipped and easy to use. Loved the presence of the owners pets (dog and cats).
I loved how dog friendly the motel was. So close to the Domain which has to be the best dog walking secure area by the river and native forest in New Zealand. The owner was super helpful and easy check in check out. Room was very spacious for a family and pets. I will stay here every time when in Westport.
