It was dog friendly and had a great setup to give dogs space/grass to relax, but was also secure. The house was modern, fully fitted out with every convenience, was so comfortable and with a lovely enclosed deck to relax on. It was close to the beach, shops etc. Really pefect holiday and will definitely stay there again.

The Barn. Great location and fully equipped with everything we needed, also appreciated the small fenced area for our dog. Took a coffee up to Anzac Bay (2 min walk) and enjoyed the amazing view! A definite highlight.
We would definitely recommend Waihi Beach Getaway. The place was clean and very well taken care of. Most importantly, we were able to bring our dog and have her inside with us. Often “pets allowed” only extends to service dogs or small dogs. Ours is not lol. Our hosts, Pauly and Andrea, were friendly, accommodating and just left you to your own business.

Great location (five minute walk to beach) and fantastic facilities, well equipped unit which was comfortable, tidy and had plenty of room, amazing pressure in the shower and lovely covered deck with seating to enjoy coffee and meals on. We travelled with our small dog and it was so great to find such a lovely accomodation where you could stay with your pet. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.
Pet friendly- secure back yard and our puppy could play with Agnes, Rose's dog. Well provisioned kitchen. Easy short walk to surf beach which is wide and safe. Hot shower. Privacy. Uninterrupted views to the estuary. Sunny position.
