Really well equipped place to stay for a night. We are on a long NZ road trip from Auckland to the bottom of the South Island, and very much appreciated the ability to launder clothes, make our own food, be warm and cosy and comfortable (sleep), and have the luxury of a later check out at 11am. Reefton is a cute town with historic buildings and nice cafes/ bakeries. This place had everything we were after, as a stopover when exploring the Lewis pass and west coast area. Thanks very much to our hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay here - loved siting in front of the warm fire, it was centrally located, well equipped and breakfast was plentiful. Communication was great and Di was very helpful when there was an unexpected powercut, leaving a thermos flask of hot water for us so we could still have tea & coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was help yourself to cereals, toast, etc, along with fresh yoghurt, milk, juice and spreads.
Communal kitchen/ dining area and lounge was good for meeting other visitors.
Nice location, good wifi. Place probably could do with a bit of a renovation (new carpet, bathroom upgrade etc). It is an okay place to stay. Biggest downside was the 1 ply public bathroom style toilet paper.
It would be nice if they could either supply a fan in each room or air conditioning, as it was quite hot and muggy when I stayed.
Location, staff, room and extras like chocolates and fresh water in the fridge. Also fabulous breakfast and Kelly and her team took excellent care of us. Loved Reefton and look forward to visiting again.
