Loved the location being away from the main village it was so relaxing and being able to access the track behind the house with our dog was a bonus. Our favourite part was the views, the amazing pressure in the shower and the fire.

The place has such a great layout for our big family. In summer, we would have used more of the house due to the challenge of keeping it warm in winter, but even just having the kitchen and upstairs area to lounge around in, on big soft couches and a large TV with glorious views out to the mountains was magic. The location is perfect because it's so close to the lake and town. Lovely lot of pillows, blankets, kitchen supplies like oil, salt/pepper, and spices to use.

Location was great. We came with our pet dogs and were able to walk them easily. Room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t see the staff but it was very organised with the key and clear directions to our room left out for us
Perfect location, short walk to town and the lake. We checked in quite late and were very grateful to walk in to a very warm, cosy and comfortable cottage. We loved the fireplace too. Quite spacious. Pet friendly.
Loved the layout, just perfect for me. Warm and comfortable. I bet its fabulous in winter! Being pet friendly, I was able to have my crated dog in the lounge, and have the bedroom sliding door almost closed so I didn't hear her snoring! The kitchen was better set up than I thought it would be, next stay I'll bring my breakfast etc. I just loved my wee room. This was my first visit to Tekapo, I'll be back and definitely staying here.
