Loved everything, very comfortable stay in a perfect location. The hosts are so welcoming and clearly take a real pride in the winery and accomodation. Really recommend ordering the platter, it’s superb as is the wine tasting option.

So nice and cosy, having a fire was really nice.

The house was in a very tranquil spot, beautiful gardens and being on a farm it was ' off the beaten track ' yet only 10 mins from Carterton. It was well situated for visiting surrounding areas such as Masterton, Castlepoint, Greytown, Featherstone and Martinborough. The hosts were very welcoming and we even spoke to one lady twice, as she was attending to the gardens / lawns etc. The highlight for us was the old, resident cat Lulu who followed us everywhere and was v friendly.
Located at the edge of Carterton the cottage is a good base to explore the Martinbourough-region. We also made trips to Cape Palliser, to the Putangirua Pinnacles (the Dimholt Road for lotr-fans), the Rivendell-location and the Waiohine-Gorge.
Breakfast with homemade bread and fresh eggs was outstanding and the hosts recommended lovely restaurants.
Last but not least - we loved Hazel and Lotta, the two dogs of the family.

Comfy bed in room, great shower, fantastic pool, had a full kitchen, coffee pods, extras such as baked bread & biscuits. We loved the friendly dogs and animals on site too. Great communication and friendly owners. We enjoyed the country feel yet so close to both Carterton and Greytown.
The peacefulness, privacy and outlook of the location. Lovely to see beautiful horses too.

Beautiful area and space. Hosts Ruth and Grant are awesome, great communication and very welcoming, the furry ones Ollie and Scout are too cute! Breakfast provided was yummos! Our space was on point, very tidy/clean and comfortable beds, robes. We did not use pool/jacuzzi while there, but the area was ready to use if need be. Thank you!
