Could not rate this hotel and spa highly enough, value for money? More than! Everything from check in to (free late) check out was outstanding and the staff were exceptional with me and my family. Our room was upgraded for free and the breakfast was excellent. Special mention to Elizabeth for the outdoor sauna ritual and fjord swimming in the afternoon, a truly unforgettable experience.

People be careful dont book this place for your safety. I will advice that booking.com should investigate this lady properly, run a background check , check with the other agency she was with, hear from other guest she threw out of her home. Neighbors were tired of her sending guest out of her house. The host is a terrible human been. From the moment she saw me she started interogating me why I booked to stay there for 10 days, she said I can stay 7 days and leave. To me she must be kidding. I did not also know that she has a dog. I confronted her about it in a polite way that Im allergy to dog fure etc. so she know that I will not be close , she said it allergy free dog. Its all lies. She showed me room down the basement and told me that she sleeps in her living room. She showed me a written document with her rules. Cooking 30 kr, washing 30k, no noise from 22.00 until 6.00. Surprising at midnight she will bouncing heavy movement until dawn, put on washing machine that is in the basement, certainly disrupting my sleep. When I ate my food the second day my troat started gasing up in the middle, my breathing was shortening, immidiately I cut a lemon and sqeeze all in my mouth to kill the allure of the dog. Third day the same thing happened with my chocolade paste. I locked my door when I left but when I came back it was opened but I did not want to embarrase her so i kept quiet. When the issue with chockolade happed she was in the basement. I Would not state this part in detail. After she tried me cettain ways to get me out of the house she did not succeed. On the 6th day a friend came to visit me 7 am in the morning just 5 minutes visit to see where I was staying at this time she was walking her dog outside she saw him while he came in. She even saw him before me because he was trying to locate the exact house number. She did not say anything to me that means its alright after all it was not indicated that I should not have a visitor.

I originally meant to only spend a night there, but due to the floods at the time my trains got cancelled and I really glad how helpful the host was and that I could spontaneously stay there until the train was running again. The food was good, everything was clean and I really enjoyed my stay.
