Very good breakfast and evening meal - food in general of a high standard. This hotel is in a fairly remote location though easily accessible via a good road it stands alone in glorious countryside. 10 minutes walk from the railway station, an excellent location for walkers and obviously heated up for this activity. We went for the walking and loved it!

Restaurant Perrongen was a highlight for us as the menu was serving local foods. Together with excellent wines, and friendly wait staff, we had a wonderful evening.Breakfast was a typical hotel buffet with some Norwegian style dishes.
The room was comfortable with hot shower and comfy bed.
There isn’t much happening in Oppdal in September as it is between seasons. We missed out on the musk ox and reindeer.

Host was very friendly and accommodating. Great location outside Oppdal. Great hiking, Great bakery, great scenery. Our stay was really nice. We could have spent several nights there. Nice old time Norwegian hytte.

This is a truly special place! So peaceful and beautiful. A 10 minute drive from Oppdal center, the location is absolutely serene. Lovely breakfast served and attended by friendly and informative. Probably the nicest cabin stay we have ever had in Norway and we have stayed in a lot of cabins!!!
