    Stayed prior to hiking Bessegan and was a perfect place for that. Easy access next morning to lot/ferry dock. Staff was communicative and helpful in accommodating our arrival time the previous night.

    The location of the cabin is amazing, it is inside the park and the hiking trails start directly from there (the famous Besseggen ridge is very close as well). The cabin was very spacious and clean, there is a small table in front with the view of the river. The staff was very helpful in giving us advices for hiking trails and motor roads.

    extremely nice staff that helped out to find the nearest medical facility, bus timetables, hike recommendations. They also gave us a lift to Gjendesheim when we needed to catch the bus for Oslo.

    Location was perfect for our Besseggen ridge hike. Half board meals were excellent. Kind and responsible staff. They found my diamond engagement ring in the room and went out of their way to find me and return it! That never would have happened in the USA. I am forever grateful.

    The food was exceptional! We had the 3 course dinner and really good! Super chef! Recommend you to try it. Breakfast was like a buffet with many options. Location is great! we went for a walk to Besseggen and we got tips and help to plan a perfect day tour. The cabin we stayed was super large. We traveled with 2 small dogs. So really nice we could bring them with us. We love dog friendly stays. All as expected! great location, great price and amazing food!
