We stayed one night and we very happy with our experience. I found it interesting reading about the history of the building. A previous public school. There are art deco elements to the building. The rooms have beautiful high ceilings and are spacious .rhe beds are very comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and genuine. The breakfast was good.

The location was very good - quiet and peaceful but near Schoorl which is lovely and within easy walking distance. Good restaurants and excellent shops for food. The area is great for cycling and walking. The kitchen was well equipped with a very good fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine plus all the other equipment you needed. The lounge area was comfortable with a nice dining table next to it.
Duynbossie provided the perfect base for my stay in Schoorl - very peaceful, comfortable, clean, stylish, great location, and friendly helpful hosts. I loved it and would definitely go back! Thank you 😁
Location is superb, especially when you rent bikes it’s a great spot to go into different directions from. Some great routes there.
Beyond that the Lodge has 2 decently sized rooms each with their own bathroom, Washing basin and shower.
Very nice accommodation. Nicely furnished, cozy - just to feel good.
The outdoor area was great too, completely fenced so our dog could run free and a cozy corner for us to sit.
Easy and quick communication with the hosts.

I write in English, for the benefit of other travelers. An outstanding and spacious apartment, perfectly and intelligently equipped, with ample space for a family of 4 (and even more for a couple, like us). It lies outside Schoorl 'downtown' next to a canal. We found it actually an advantage, given its quite location and the fact that we arrived by car. For those who like the sea we recommend a 10-12km easy ride to Petten or Sint Maartenszee
So cozy, and every detail thought of (even a hook for our dog's leash by the door). A warm welcome with a bottle of wine. Lovely fireplace. Comfy bed. Well-equipped kitchen (one of the best we've encountered at such rentals). And the dunes are a 5 minute walk away. We will certainly be back!
