From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed by Ed and Frans. The place is warm and cozy with a very familiar vibe, as if I was staying at a family friends house. They went out of their way to make me feel at home and even made me a packed lunch to go to work with the next day because I was leaving early for work and missed the breakfast.
I also had the Schnitzel dinner which was amazing.
I would for sure go back here and reccomend anyone else to stop in whether it's for a night or just a meal.to check out the vibe.

We liked the location of the resort (good nature, isolated but not too far from the city center) and the well maintained facilities.

Parking space included but also free streetparking with AC charging point for 0,33euro/kwh by Vattenfall just outside the door. It came in handy for full charge every morning while going to Spa race circuit!

The hotel location is in the center of the Heerlen, where you can find everything you need at a walking distance.
The buffet breakfast is also good with good choices of food.
When we arrived, it seems one of the day staff had cancelled our reservation even after I spoke to confirm it and as well online. A VERY efficient gentleman worked his magic fingers and we then had a room, 2 beds for my son & I to relax and sleep well. The location was very good with a few eateries abound. Plus the train station and transit were within a short walk.
The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Though the room was very small it was clean. I really liked how they had common rooms with books and free coffee/tea. You can catch glimpses of the glory days of this aging hotel in these spaces on the second level.
