Otjiwarongo is one of the best towns we travelled through. The guest house is drivable to the centre and is far enough away to be in a quite safe location.
The rooms are large well appointed and very stylish. The gardens are beautifully designed. The general dining and sitting areas are again well presented and thoughtfully arranged.
The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
The guest house is situated in a very quiet location, has secure locked parking and a lovely garden with the cleanest swimming pool we have seen anywhere. It was easy to find and upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner. Our room was compact but spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything we required for our overnight stay. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio in the evening. Breakfast was excellent and included cooked options as well as cereals, jams and toast.
We were very lucky and have been upgraded to the lodge instead of the B&B by the owner of both locations. The room was comfortable with everything you need. The restaurant is excellent. A la carte menus or a buffet to choose from. We enjoyed our dinner and the breakfast. Enough parking space for the car and caravan. The staff is very friendly.
Location is perfect with a lovely view overlooking all the animals - so nice to wake up and see giraffes chilling. Game drive is amazing, so interesting to hear about the animals from the kind owners. You can also hike around the farm. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The highlight was definitely when the lovely staff surprised my husband with a bottle of wine and sang happy birthday to him - such a nice gesture! We were so sad we only booked 1 night. Next time we will book at least 3 nights!
