    The Canyon Roadhouse is always a winner! The location is ideal, very close to the Fish River Canyon, and it's literally an oasis in the desert. The restaurant is an informal diner vibe with a lot of fun touches to make it memorable, and an afternoon out by the swimming pool is a life-saver in the relentless heat. The campsite ablutions are top class and the staff went out of their way to accommodate special requests.

    Amazing location and super clean bathrooms and showers. We enjoyed the atmosphere of both the restaurant building and the campsite. There’s a lovely hike from the campsite that we took at sunset with beautiful viewpoints.

    We loved everything about this place. The location close to the canyon, the decoration at the site, clean ablutions, nice pool. Good food and most of all, friendly staff!
