Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

Prasad was the nicest host we've had in Sri Lanka so far (and everyone in Sri Lanka has been very nice).
Him and his family made us dinner at their place, and he can also arrange a safari around Lunugamvehera National Park (we had already arranged it).
The place is just off the main road where the bus stop is, but secluded enough that all you hear are birds and insects. There's a nice garden outside and a creek where some monkeys were chilling during the day.
The cabin had AC and fridge and it was very comfortable overall.

The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the view over the rice fields from the balcony and it was a calm place. A good way to stay in the area for a safari in Yala National Park. We got our safari organized with the place which was very easy and convenient and the pick-up was on time.

An ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of larger cities and set off on a safari in Yala Park. The hosts are a wonderful couple who made me feel happy and safe. They organized a fantastic safari in Yala, where I saw many elephants, crocodiles, buffaloes, jackals, monkeys, as well as lizards and birds. Additionally, I enjoyed the best Rice & Curry and Sri Lankan Curd I had in all of Sri Lanka. They also have two lovely sons who taught me how to play cricket, and two adorable dogs I played with for hours.

This majestic treehouse is a very cool experience for travelers and wanderers! It is located outside the city, in a very peaceful and quiet area! Everything resembles nature, the house is wooden and very comfortable! The beds have mosquito protection, very important for keeping insects off you! The shower is open, with no roof, so that you can actually stare at the stars or the sun! Our breakfast was adequately enjoyed and the housekeepers were lovely! If you’re afraid of bugs and you want to challenge yourself, I would definitely recommend staying there since you’re actually in the woods, experiencing a more natural environment!

- Cool place to stay, hippy vibes. Lots of cool animals around and 4 gorgeous dogs, 3 of them being sausage dogs.
- The dinner was delicious and the manager got us all instruments after dinner and we played together which everyone enjoyed if it is your vibe.
- I liked going to sleep with the sounds of nature and waking up to them if it’s your vibe as it is all open air.
- Don’t stay if you don’t like roughing it a bit.

The staff is wonderful. During our entire trip through Sri Lanka we haven't met any nicer people than here. Moreover, the food they offer you will not only fulfill your taste buds, it will also fill you for days to come. Lastly, they are in a brilliant location to provide safaris to Yala and are great at finding animals and explaining around the whole ecosystem.

Tranquil Wild is perfectly located to explore the quieter side of Yala National Park. We had an amazing bird watching safari and saw around 40 local species in one afternoon. Ann, the owner, is on hand and was really warm and friendly. The food was humble, delicious and perfect for the setting. The rooms are really spacious and well appointed. We loved our stay and will be back.
The location itself was very rural, which is exactly what we were hoping for. The property is very relaxing and quiet, with a nice pool and grounds. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Without a doubt, the best part of the stay was the staff helping us to arrange a safari to Lunugamvehera National Park. It was amazing!
The food at the restaurant was very delicious as well.
