I don't know where to begin.. I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing.

Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Silver Hill exceeded our expectations, so we extended our stay to 6 nights. At first we didn’t really know what to expect since there weren’t many reviews on booking, but we were really enthusiastic about this place. The location is stunning, it’s in the middle of nature. I also really liked the people that were hosting. The food was amazing and they made a bonfire at dinner. The woman also took us on a really cool hike through the rice fields. It was an amazing experience all together.
