We loved the location of Wanakaset Forest glamping right in the heart of the forest which afforded us amazing views of the hills from our balcony room. The food was plentiful and delicious and the ladies in the kitchen incredibly hospitable. We ventured out on a trek with Banda who was passionate and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. We would highly recommend a stay in this forest sanctuary.

For those seeking a tech detox, this is the perfect place, as there’s no phone service to distract you. Amazing location in the jungle. The big shared lounge was a fabulous room with comfy chairs - you felt you were really part of the jungle. The food was freshly prepared and included ingredients found near by. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and helped arrange our rafting trip with Wasantha which was excellent.
Friendly host who took time to communicate with us prior , on site caretaker who went out of his way to pick coconuts and take us on a spider hunt , rooms in the jungle , welcome drink plus cake, BBQ after rafting
For us, the best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s situated on a private tea plantation, it’s remote and quiet.. and the views are amazing.
Food was good but bit on the expensive side. Eating out is a hassle due to the remote location.
Staying at the “villa” we had a private pool… together with tjat view is stunning.

Our stay at White Villa was amazing, rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the location was great. All villas are fully connected to nature, and walking distance, there is a natural freshwater pool. Also, the food was delicious. They made everything home made and lots of ingredients from their Garden so super fresh. The owners are super friendly they arranged everything that we require. Hope to visit again soon.
The location was remote, journey was exciting. Road getting to hotel isnt suitable for low cars but was already aware of this so we had no issues.
