I can highly recommend this place. You have a spacious room with an attached bathroom. Everything is very clean, the hot water and the WiFi worked very well and there is a nice garden where you can relax in the hammock. The cave temples are just a few minutes walk away. The owner and his whole family are so kind and friendly and they help you with everything you need. Every morning I had a different and very tasty breakfast. Thank you for these wonderful days I could have in your homestay!

Everything, 10/10, 5/5. We have never been so well looked after in all our travels as we have been at the tree house. What a unique experience. Lying in bed in the midst of the jungle is truly magical. What was also magical was the food created by pradeepika. Home cooked, wonderful Sri Lankan cuisine. As for pradeepika and her husband, they went over and above for us, so so kind.

The accommodation is wonderfully located right on a lake, just outside of Dambulla, but still very conveniently located. There is a terrace with a view of the lake that you won't want to leave. The owners are extremely friendly, very communicative and warm-hearted. The room was a bit small, but clean and functionally furnished. The food was very delicious. We had a lot of fun and a quiet time. Since it is in nature, there are a few more insects. We would love to come back!

Located within walking distance from the cave temple. Room & bathroom clean. Quiet during the night. Wifi ok. Can't comment on their food as did not eat there. Can't comment on transport either, did not partake in tours, did not get offered a lift from/to bus station as mentioned in other reviews (but I believe this is an extra charge and not a goodwill gesture). Breakfast and air-con are extra charges, and a 10% SERVICE FEE is added to the final bill.

This hotel offers exceptional service to its customers. Siddu the manager always helped us with whatever we needed and even beyond. The team at the hotel were brilliant, they could not have been any more welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and having a good time. The hotel also helps with local touring and taxis. Hotel dog Bruno is also very friendly.

We loved staying at the White Land City hotel! You immediately notice the thoughtfulness that was put into designing it, from the grand picture to the small details. The rooms were impeccably clean, the food was delicious, but the highlight was for sure the friendly and available staff (including Murphy the dog 😍). The hotel is also conveniently located close to the bus station and many restaurants, only a short tuk tuk ride to the main sights.
The owner was willing to help us organize transport and things to do. Nice walk on arrival to a nearby rock with a great view and great to be offered a cuppa on arrival!
Filling breakfast (included) and the best evening meals - honestly, we ate here most nights!

Good location close to Dambulla
Caves and golden Buddha, but set away form the main road so it was quite peaceful apart from dogs barking at night (which you get everywhere in Sri Lanka). The owner was very friendly and fixed yours for us and drove us to Nuwara Eliya. We had the best meal we’ve had in Sri Lanka at the guesthouse one evening. Swimming pool was nice and clean.
Absolutely stay at this place if your planning to stay at dambulla! The acommodation is nicely located near to ricefields, cosy and clean. But the best part was Api and his lovely family (dogs and cats included) who took so nice care of us: Cooking really delicious local food at any daytime, explaining everthing and helping us organize our further trip and even showing us around in their own tuktuk and climbing the pidurangala rock with us. This all for for a very fair price. Api is the most guestfriendly person we have ever met.

The place was really nice and comfy. There was air conditioning, fridge and the pool. We really liked the bar next to the pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner told us a lot of usefull stuff about Sri Lanka! They helped us catch a bus to Kandy just outside the hotel. Overall we would recommend this place to everyone. Bonus point: There are two small dogs who were very sweet.
An amazing experience of living basically inside a jungle. Asela, his family and their super friendly and protective doggo named Shadow made our stay special. Decent location travel-wise. Beautiful garden and secluded dining area. Tasty, homemade brekkies. Hosts are doing their best to accomodate all needs you might have. Very informative and clearly explaning everything.
