The property is spacious. We travelled with 3 adults and 3 children. We have a lot of space to relax. When we were there, there was a big earthquake in Niigata. Although the property was not within the warning zone, we checked the closest tsunamis shelter. It is just at the back of the property and it takes a 7 yro boy 48 secs to run to the shelter. There is a large supermarket for local people. We bought high-quality sashimi, A5 wagu beef and alcohol for dinner. There is an ocean-facing public Onsen in 2mins drive! It only costs you a few hundred yen for an adult and half price for a child. Don’t forget to grab the towels from the property when you go.

The location is great and the stay provides good value for money. There are things to do in Susami like renting bicycles and stand up paddle boards from the Susami Tourism Office. The apartment is quite spacious for 2 people.
The design was beautiful. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The big window and view over the ocean were magnificent. The staff was extremely pleasant, dedicated and helpful.
Price - a really good price for the room I had for the night
Location - it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere but exactly what I needed, so it’s perfect location for me
The view - I had the sea view room, and the view was great
Like the location because it’s close to the port, which is convenient for going fishing.
Also amenities are good. Everything works well. The kitchen is in good condition, too. We made a great meal for ourselves.
Fantastic cliffside location, with little onsen and sitting room overlooking the sea. Toilet on every level. Dated feel, but clean. Highway rest stop nearby with restaurants, and a convenience store, otherwise the town is silent at night.
Great location, easy check in, and a comfy place to sleep with a Japanese style bed on the the tatami. Susami is a lovely little town with lots to do in the surrounding area. The place is very clean and tidy!
