Very nice place in the middle of the nature. The host is very helpful and provide good information to visit the regio.

The house was huge for a family of 4. We enjoyed the traditional features and living. The property was homely, comfortable and interesting. It offered everything we needed.
It is located within a short walk to Matsumoto Castle, park and other featured attractions. The bicycles provided by the property also offered an additional 'win' for us as we cycled around the city and enjoyed the sights and food on offer.
The staff was warm and always eager to help. The room and facilities were clean and cozy too. Perfect place to come back to after a full day of hiking/sightseeing. The location was really convenient too, just a 10-15 min walk from the station and very near major tourist attractions. There's also a lounge to chill in, kitchen for cooking meals and laundry (washing + drying) can be done for 500 yen!
Shoho was actually amazing! Dinner was superb! having like over 10 small courses, reserve enough time for it! it might take over 2 hours!. Breakfast was amazing too, big variety of options, dumplings, miso, salads, fruits and really tasty coffee! Room had fresh water to drink, onsen place was nice and quiet accessible in the morning and till 24.00. They also have shuttle bus from train station to the hotel.
Besides that, hotel is located near the mountains, so the scenery is nice too.
The room is generally clean and the location is convenient and quite. The parking lot is free and spacious. You can stay with your pet at no extra cost, that is actually rare in Japan. Very nice staff.
