First night fantastic location, very lively and great vibe. Easy walking to many restaurants and shops. Very helpful owner who goes over and beyond to make a stay that is comfortable and just right for you. We are in our late sixties so for us the location was a bit too noisy, so the owner took us to his other hostel (Alamer home from home ) for our second night and it was wonderful. A bit further from the beach but still easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. We loved the very friendly and homely vibe in this quiet location.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the property. The hotel was super clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is also very desirable, nearly everything was within a walking distance. The staff is what made our stay the most memorable, I have visited many hotels and the receptionist of La Riva Mr. Al-Zu’bi definitely tops the list as the most helpful and hospitable staff member. We didn’t really have a plan as to what to do and he explained all the activities we could do and helped us book them as well as book the transportation. Moreover he gave us a history lesson about the sites that he recommended we visit and the history of Aqaba. Would definitely book it again.
