The room was spacious and very clean, with a large, comfortable bed. The accommodation is located in the heart of the old town, which made exploring incredibly convenient. Breakfast included a nice variety of foods.
One thing to note is that eating in the room is not allowed, though I’m sure the owner has a good reason for this. It wasn’t an issue for me since I didn’t plan to eat in the room anyway. However, the walls are quite thin, and you may hear noises from neighboring rooms. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be a drawback.

This is a very charming property converted from centuries old house that has view of the mountains from the roof top. Andrea was very friendly and helpful. The reception is decorated so beautifully and the exterior of the is so charming that it makes you smile. We had a room where we could get the view of the mountain from right outside through a passage between the buildings which was an added bonus.

We loved everything about Il Crocevia b&b. The place was spotlessly clean, the room and the bathroom were very roomy and Antonella was a wonderful host. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and good local products. Il Crocevia is situated about 10 minutes drive from Tirano, so perfect to catch the Bernina train. Antonella told us where to park for free near the station. Should we return to the area we would definitely stay at Il Crocevia again and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

A beautiful family estate a few hundred years old that has been renovated while keeping its orighinal character, and that serves now as a guest house.

Paulo who runs the place is so friendly and hospitable, We have let him know in advance that we are vegans and the most beautiful breakfast has even included a wonderful vegan chocolate and figs cake that he has made himself especialy for us.
