In short - everything! Giada and Daniele are simply amazing hosts. Our every need was met including dealing with a medical issue. The location is as peaceful as it is beautiful. The kids had plenty to keep them occupied. The food - particularly the Florentine steak - was delectable. This place is a rare find - a mix of old world charm and amazing hospitality. Beautiful countryside location in upstairs apartment. Newly renovated and comfortably furnished with love and care by owners who have the gift of hospitality. Everything was marvellous. Danielle is the perfect host, even not speaking the same language there were no barriers and we could understand each other perfectly (and yes: we got to improve our Italian). She always made sure we had everything we need and that we made the best of our time in the region. On top of this Daniele and her husband were marvellous to our daughter (almost as if they were her Italian grand parents) and their dog Willy also helped her miss our dog less. The house has a charm of it's own, feels like a home and breeds history. is comfortable and had more than everything we needed for our stay. Plus we got delicious tomatoes straight from the garden. The location is right in the middle of some of the most important sights in Tuscany. Traveling to each location on country roads was sometimes more amazing than the destination itself.
