Ive been coming to Bir since many years but the birdhouse villa is the place where I'd come again for sure. The rooms are damn cozy, comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and serves amazing food. The property is right at the chowk which is close to bir road and and also to the quiet side of Bir. The tea garden view offers that green element too. We enjoyed the stay here. Sanjeev helped to connect with the paragliding team and it was great.

I loved the location of the hostel. It's a beautiful sprawling property surrounded by lots of greenery especially the Tea Gardens on either side of the road adds to the beauty of the place. Tim Tim cafe which is part of the property is a social hub where you can meet up with like minded travelers and plan sightseeing with them. The Cafe churns out tasty food at affordable prices. I booked for two days but then I extended my stay for another two days. Best part was that it is walking distance to the market place and the monasteries. There are a few lovely cafes which again you can walk to like Garden Cafe and Nothern Cafe. I booked for a double room which was clean with good sheets and comforter. There was hot water a plenty. The washroom was very clean. It's good stay for families too. All in all I had a great stay here. Syed, who manages the place is very pleasant and helpful guy.
