    Spectacular location and setting. Ciaran and Diedre were wonderful and very welcoming hosts. The farm is full of wonderful animals, including two entertaining peacocks. We loved the somewhat remote, easy to access location. Idyllic really! There are beautiful grounds to explore and the nearby villages and wonderful sights are easy to access. A wonderful experience!

    Ciaran was very friendly and helpful. There were beautiful animals (especially sweet little Mario the cat who was so patient and loving to my small child), lots of firewood to keep it cosy and toasty warm electric blankets in the comfy beds. Quiet location in the country but short drive to pubs and nearby points of interest.

    The cottage is very charming and in a lovely location. John, the host, was vefy helpful and left a lovely welcome pack for us on arrival. I had left some clothes behind on departure and he offered to post them to me. Great service!

    Location is fabulous, well off the beaten track so perfect for getting away from it all. Facilities are just about right with some interesting features to make the property interesting and comfortable to stay in regardless of what the weather was doing outside and with the Wicklow walk just round the corner plenty to explore on foot.

    Host Ciarán was sound. Juice and milk in the fridge, stove ready. 2 peacocks and a cat visited me in the Kitchen ;-) Donkeys and the dog were very friendly. Thanks a mill Ciarán and Deirdre, ye have a lovely spot.

    It was self catering, but food essentials were generously provided. The hosts were very hospitable, friendly and helpful. It was a charming cottage in a remote location, with lots of local interest.

    Unique in every aspect. Location is ideal if you’re looking for a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cottage has everything you need and was perfect beyond what we expected. Our host John, a real gentleman, knowledgeable and so welcoming, perfect introduction to the cottage a really lovely man.
