Dessie provided a very warm welcome when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. Heidi was so good to bring us a few logs for the stove on the first night - typical Irish weather! The living area was so cosy espeically with the stove, and the bed was extremely comfortable! Kitchen was very well kitted out. The gardens are incredible, the area is huge! It was a lovely tranquil base for exploring West Cork

The location is stunning, the staff were friendly, the food from the restraunt was gorgeous, the shower was great the views from the front door were spectacular, the pod was very clean and had everything you would need for a break away., including plates, glasses for drinks and a kettle and even a microwave. . It also had instant hot water which we loved. We actually loved our stay our dog Jack loved the water just outside our pod and enjoyed sitting by the door when we were relaxing in the evening.

I would say that that was the best guest house we have ever had, and I must say we are traveling a lot aroud the Ireland, place is absolutley stunning,very clean, every single detail makes you feel that you are very welcome.
You will find there everything what need, some goodies for the guest... what a nice surprise.

Corthna Lodge was a lovely B&B to stay. It was so clean and location was excellent to Schull village. Rachel was so welcoming and breakfast was very tasty. The lodge has two lovely dogs which made for a lovely welcoming committee. Would highly recommend ro anyone.
Loved the peaceful, picturesque surroundings - it was the perfect location to explore the Mizen peninsula. Bed was super comfy and we had a restful night's sleep. It was a huge bonus that we could bring our dog along with us. Thanks Stephanie!
From the views from our belle tent to the owners our trip was superb. We wanted a camping trip away from the real world and to quite literally do nothing. It was perfect for what we wanted!
It's also pet friendly which our little Rosie loved!
