We arrived extremely early (even before checking out time from the night before) as we had a hospital appointment…. It’s was a full house so the earliest room would be 2.30 which was no problem at all…we were going to have some lunch and head to the hospital appointment…. but when I asked receptionist to call a taxi to the hospital and she realised it was the childerns hospital we were going to she went above and beyond to get a room ready before we left so we cud freshen up…. The staff are outstanding and we will be back once again . Thanks so much Rachel

This accommodation is called 'Cozy room in a barn with farm view'. And that's exactly what you get. This is literally in a converted barn, but in spite of that the bedroom is extremely welcoming. We stayed for 2 nights and the bed is just gorgeous. This is very much a family run business. John & Keira were exceptionally kind and considerate hosts. This is an active farm, so there are various animals on the grounds, goats, a horse, some chickens. A very friendly cat and dog complete the menagerie. I think having a car is definitely an advantage to staying here as the country road the venue is situated on, is very much a one lane affair up a hill.
Please note this accommodation is in a rural area on a farm. If you don't like fields, farm animals, or wildlife this won't be your thing. However, if you want some peace and quiet away from the bustle of Dublin (while being only a 30 minute drive from the city) then book here!

The hosts are so nice made us feel very welcome. Microwave/kettle/toaster/mini fridge available.Tea,coffee and snacks available. Fresh towels prepared as there's a shower in cabin. Bed was so comfortable, better than mine at home.
Family have a Lovely little dog very friendly. Host offered us lift to Dublin zoo following morning to save hassle travelling on and off busses with our cases bless her. 🙌 relaxed check in and checkout times. Must email host to sort times of arrival etc and responds back quickly. Netflix on TV and can use WiFi.
It was like a home from home experience will defo be back very soon.

The location was perfect, being close to the city center, which made exploring very convenient. The owner was incredibly nice and welcoming. The price-quality ratio was excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay.

Gorgeous food, beautiful hotel, lovely walks in the grounds, dog friendly and overall just wonderful! Staff were all very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We did a tour of the house with the Head Concierge and it was very interesting.
Good location for Maynooth village. Room was nice and spacious. Communication with staff before stay was exceptional. Pool was nice and warm. Beds were comfortable. Noa Spa was amazing highly recommend Nala for a treatment. Staff in leisure centre were lovely and the hotel cleaning staff. Peter in the bar/restaurant was very nice and friendly. Salmon dish was excellent. I would recommend this hotel for couples and friends going out in Maynooth not really family breaks.
the place is amazing, the food is unbelievable, but the staff.. ahh the staff! they are so friendly!
also the hotel is pet friendly so we brought out babies with us abs everyone loved them.
The whole experience was superb. Stunning location with magnificent grounds. My partner, my dog and I enjoyed our time at Carton House tremendously. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel special - especially our little dog, who really loved all the attention and cuddles he received. Had 2 wonderful evenings at the Carriage house restaurant, food and service were remarkable.
