We come here twice a year for our grandparents anniversary mass. Perfect location, walking distance to Letterfrack village. Would love if check out was a little later but its still manageable. The kids love the farm animals that are roaming freely during the day. We needed to book an extra night this time around and Carmel was very helpful in getting it organised. What we liked - the location near huge empty beaches, retention of old-style cottage feel while also being clean and well-equipped, good wifi, friendly hosts, comfortable beds, loads of books and games. This is a perfect house if you want to get away from it all and walk for miles in the wild and feel the wind in your hair and have a refreshing cold dip in the clearest water you've ever seen. Then, refreshed, enjoy seafood and Guinness in Clifden!
Exactly what we were looking for. Great location, some stunning nearby beaches. Gorgeous part of the country. Friendly hosts, accommodation spotless and well equipped.
Flaherty cottage was amazing, great location for exploring connemara, the perfect setting and dog friendly,
only few minutes walk to white sandy beaches of mannin bay. The place was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, had lovely cosy stove for the November evenings.Great host who checked in regularly and gave great detailed recommendations. We will be definitely back again soon.
The whole house was great as we had 5 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs. The outside space was brilliant for kids and dogs. The location was great as could explore all around us. Have been coming down for years and by far this has been the best place we have stayed in.
