The place has a cozy homey feel to it. The kitchen stuff is complete, they even had a nespresso machine! We were able to cook our food properly -- had some fried stuff and some soup. But what I love best about it was that the host himself came to say hi to and chat with us the following day, it was very welcoming. We chose the place because it was quite near to the monasteries, about 10 minutes drive. There is also a grocery nearby. And behind the apartment has got a really nice sunset view.

Ideal place for a visit to Meteora. Hosts are nice and flexible. We came very late and they arranged that we can check-in flowlessly :) 2 adults and 2 kids fit perfectly, the beds are comfy, the room has all you need, the area around is very calm and green. Nice garden. Wifi, Tv with Netflix, although you are there to visit Meteora, dont you? 10-15 minutes drive to monasteries, while being away from Kalambaka's tourist crowds.Parking in front of the house with plenty of space. Of course you will need a car to go to Meteora as i am not sure if there is any public transport to Kalambaka, probably yes, but i have not seen it myself.

Our arrival was delayed due to uncontrollable circumstances but our host stayed in touch with us and everything was ready when we arrived. The apartment had everything we needed and faced a nice courtyard. I appreciated the separate bedroom for children and our daughter loved the bedspread on her bed :)
