The hosts Defkalion and Antigonie are extremely warm people. They gave such a great welcome, and are very easy to contact. The house has an authentic charm, and facilities are great. Beautiful beach at 200m walking distance. Lots of beautiful pristine beaches nearby. Festos is very nearby; Knossos at ~70 minutes drive. Lots of stunning hikes at less than 1h drive.

You will find good entries to the sea at some points. If you plan a few day´s relaxing at the beginning or end of holiday while visiting Crete, Xenonas can be a sweat spot to stay. Within 1:30 h you can drive by car from/to Iraklion, Rethymno, Preveli Beach, Maravel Garden. Matala is very close and the Nature around is worth visiting too. Vegetable and fruits (sweetest melones!) are favorable.

But most important, it’s a cozy place, the owner, Nikos, is a carrying man that will make you fill like home, he helps in everything beyond what you need. There are many perfect places, this villa is beyond perfect, but the host itself, is the best thing you can get everywhere, we are for sure going to get back to this villa

A very high quality spacious apartment just on the beachfront of Kalamaki, everything is new and clean with a very good taste. A really luxury apartment in very reasonable price. Andrew was lovely and super helpful ❤️. Kalamaki is amazing, so quite and relaxed, beautiful beach and sunsets, with the best restaurants. We are a couple with a toddler and it was perfect, had such a good time. Highly recommend.

This is a very well-equipped apartment (Petrino). It even has an orange juicer machine which we used for the Cretan breed oranges. It has safe, which is not so common among apartments. It has a big backyard with nice plants. The view from the terrace is terrific. It has HIFI equipment for USB music playing. This apartment really exceeded our expectations.

This accommodation is very nice and with a wonderful view. The house has good facilities. The woman who takes care of the cleaning does a very good job. Clean and tidy. A plus is that all rooms have their own AC. Beautiful with all the plantings around the houses. If you want to rest from the beach one day but still sunbathe, there are sunbeds to pick out.
