As other reviewers have mentioned, the room (a twin for me) was a reasonable size but dark on one side due to no lighting. There was no hot water - as another has said, you have to turn the boiler on, it would have been helpful had this been explained at check-in. The bathroom was basic, no shelves for toiletries etc. The single beds need new mattresses; the ones on the beds are covered with an over-sized topper, not ideal although passable from a comfort point of view. Take ear plugs, the main road carries quite a lot of traffic. Evening meal was good, with an excellent menu choice. The breakfast was superb, definitely 10/10

Loved this beautiful holiday home 5 minutes walk from the beach , perfect location for all our days our visits to surrounding locations and the home itself was just beautiful and had everything we needed a true home from home we will definitely be visiting again , perfect for our family and dogs , thank you to Wayne who was a great host a s super friendly .
Absolutely nothing , the property is unsafe,dirty we found a dog bone under the settee, furniture is old and torn blinds are broken with parts missing stairs are unsafe my older dog fell down them, yard is dirty with old dog food and parts of furniture dumped, the apartment is above 2 derelict damp shops.we vacated the property after one night when we should have been there 3. Practically no communication from host.

Being near the sea/beach for dog walking. Helpfulness of owner. Excellent base for exploring. Nice small town with a few interesting shops/coffee shop. Fine as a base for exploring further afield. Excellent value for money. Would have enjoyed sitting around fireside, but weather was good, so we didn't need it. Practical place for our dog in early October.
The house is lovely and the hot tub is a bonus. The whole place is clean and its great to find a dog friendly house where friends and thier furry friends can enjoy a weekend.
Perfect location short walk from a fab beach.
Lisa provided excellent communication about the fitment of new carpets and made sure the cottage was prepared for our stay. Quiet street with easy walk to the beach promenade, great for walking the dogs. Easy commute to Bedlington for work.
