Lovely quiet location, handy for Woodhall Spa and several aviation history museums in the area. Very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable apartment with everything you need. The outside space was also excellent, we didn’t use it only because of poor weather. Added bonus of an excellent indoor swimming pool and sauna. The host Mandy was lovely and was there to show us around.

Just back from a lovely stay in this cosy stable conversion, enjoyed great walks along the river with our dogs, hosts were very helpful and friendly, would love to return, great location for visiting ww2 RAF historic sights. The quality of the conversion is top notch, love the vaulted ceilings, original brickwork, four poster bed and a nice en suite with a fantastic shower.
2nd time of staying. Room upgraded to suite, which was a lovely surprise. Rooms are comfy, waters hot, WiFi available, and rooms are well equipped. Disabled and dog friendly available. Breakfast, served till 10 am, is tasty and hot using local produce and with a good variety of options. Owners are friendly and helpful, chatty, and service is nice and casual. VL has a restaurant that is currently being refurbished and has always had a great reputation for food since opening many years ago.
Really nice traditional country house, feeling without the tattiness and lack of investment some older hotels show. Very good staff, the fact that I could be with my dog in the bar and have breakfast with him and that the were obviously very dog friendly.
Really good grounds to walk your dog in in the morning and last thing at night.
Had a business meeting, so didn’t have dinner but breakfast was very good and the staff and service. Excellent. My dog appreciated the extra sausage which was found for him.
The property was excellent and in a perfect location to access the centre of Woodall Spa within mins even when walking, we took the dog and there were perfect walking locations very close. Site was very clean and tidy and everyone was very friendly, I thoroughly enjoyed the time we were there, would definitely return.
Peaceful, tranquil location, nice little pub just 5 minutes up the road, the accommodation was cosy, comfortable and perfect for us and our dog, excellent walks close by, beautiful views from the lounge of a small garden, little river and views out on the AONB, 8 minute drive into the picturesque village of Woodhall Spa, with excellent eateries, boutiques and bars, all incredibly dog friendly, would highly recommended to anyone wanting a short break
Excellent location, immaculate/clean accommodation, dog friendly, toiletries/ kitchen essentials & games was a nice touch. Excellent hot tub & ideal spot to lodge.
A lovely relaxed feel and full of character and history. The location is perfect and the grounds are stunning. The terrace is a lovely place to sit with an afternoon drink. Love the fact it's dog friendly.
