The pub was very quite and in a great location away from traffic. Lots of locals popping in with there dogs which was lovely, the gardens were lovely with there own kitchen garden lots of pears. All the Staff were so friendly highly recommend
Friendly, welcoming staff; great place for solo guests travelling with their dog. Lovely, quiet location with good walks nearby, and the breakfast was delicious. Excellent shower.
What a fabulous place! We stayed in one of the annexe room with our two dogs which was perfect.
Ideal location for where we were heading the next day.
Can’t comment on the evening meal as we didn’t eat in the pub but if breakfast was anything to go by it’s a shame we missed out.
Will be looking to book again for next year’s trip.
Beautiful building, interesting gardens, cosy and homely, locals were friendly, food for breakfast and dinner was lovely, lots of country walks close by, dog friendly, friendly attentive staff (Florence looked after us).
The location was just beautiful as was the property itself. Easy to travel into Bath without being too close.
The property was immaculately decorated and extremely cozy.
Liz, the host, was very thoughtful and great communications.
Hattie and Crumpet were definitely the highlight though!!
Absolutely loved the Pear Tree Inn’s building and garden. We were there on a very hot night and the view to the garden from our dining table was like a Monet painting, very bucolic and pastoral. One felt transported to another life! Very dog friendly too which was a real plus.
The picturesque property was only half an hour from Badminton horse trials, which was the purpose of our trip, and dog friendly. The room was well equipped, spotlessly clean with good quality bed linens and toiletries. it has a beautiful garden, efficient, friendly staff and a fabulous restaurant.
The food was outstanding. Very dog friendly and relaxing. We went with friends and definitely will return. The location is amazing near Bath and Laycock. Godd national trust properties to visit. Gardens were truly lovely.
Room very interesting. Dog friendly. Good bar an restaurant areas, also dog friendly. Good breakfast, polite staff.
