The suite I had booked was small and cosy and absolutely tidy, with a comfortable bed and no noises to be heard in the bedroom at night. In the bathroom, there was a rainfall shower and a sufficient number of towles of all sizes, as well as different kinds of products, like soap and shampoo. Check-in was easy and Laura was very helpful, when there was a problem.

Remoteness and privacy; being in nature; apples; fire-making opportunities; fresh eggs, milk, and bread provided; helpfulness of the host; being close enough to Canterbury and Faversham; superb facilities

Overall breakfast was good but the coffee quality was poor and no one around for service. Eggs were only scrambled so I went into the kitchen to ask for poached. What arrived was perfectly cooked but not everyone has my nerve to do this. For £150+ per night I would expect service at breakfast for tea and coffee and eggs choice.
Young man from Afghanistan on reception when we arrived at lunch time on Friday was very polite and friendly. Other people on reception were not friendly but ok.

Caroline was so accommodating! A lovely venue, in a beautiful location, with such kind people running it. Loved having cuddles with the puppy that was there too. Thank you for everything. Breakfast items being left was such a thoughtful gesture. The games room was fantastic, and ideal location for the wedding venue we were attending.
Quiet location with amazing views over the Kent countryside. Very clean. Hosts very welcoming and helpful, fabulous welcome pack of food and drink. There were some lovely walks and a very sweet church to walk around a stones throw away.
Stayed just the one night as a stopover to the Channel Tunnel.Very friendly welcome from Caroline, and a lovely welcome package of bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee, milk and eggs - very much appreciated!! Comfortable beds. Very quiet location down little one lane country roads. Great for walking from the doorstep, with a wooded area nearby where the dog could be off lead.
Excellent location - very peaceful and with an interesting church next door (Sunday congregation very friendly!)
Games room perfect for keeping the kids occupied.
The games room was a hit with the children.
The location was quiet, with local hiking routes, perfect for the dog.
The owner was accessible but allowed us time to just enjoy our break.
Perfect location. Nice and relaxing the hot tub was perfect! The enclosed grounds were perfect for our dog Roxy we could relax while she explored and played with the owners dogs.
It was really nice! Staff was so friendly and helpful cottage was clean and very cosy. We used hot tub twice a day and it was perfect! Brilliant place and dog friendly plus 20 min drive to the beach. Definitely recommend this place!
