Superb location. Luckily I as staying midweek in June and it was very peaceful and quiet most of the day. Baby robin came to join me for a morning cup of tea. Lots of lovely walks nearby and they are exceptionally dog friendly. I had a very relaxing stay, thank you.
Fantastic central location...surprisingly quiet ( I did have a room at the back looking towards the river rather than the road/Abbey)
Amazing breakfast.
Dog friendly.
Parking a big bonus.
The location of the Fleet Inn is beautiful. The bedroom was very nice with a lovely view. The shower was good. There was bottles of 1 complimentary beer, 1 Prosecco & 1 water in fridge. The choices of food on the menus were very varied & alternative. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. The village of Twynning is pleasant, good for dog walking & friendly people.
Stunning riverside location - with a river view from our room. This is a perfect spot for those travelling with dogs as rooms are all dog friendly and there is a lovely riverside walk just outside the pub. Helpful friendly staff here (as has been our experience in other Butcombe Inns). The bedroom has some great touches - a proper alarm clock and a Roberts Radio and fresh milk for drink making. Breakfast is especially good with a good selection of dishes.
Really lovely overnight stay. Location great...a village with 2 real ale pubs, lots of parking, dog friendly, by the riverside, near to M5 / M50 & a fantastic breakfast too! We would definitely like to stay again.
Location good for motorway. Excellent parking facility. Lobby smelt of cigarette smoke... strange as there was no evidence of such. Lift, escalator v good, quick. And a room was made available near to the lift.
We had a pet dog with us and it would be nice to have an area nearer the breakfast service area to sit. I noticed quite a few groups travelling with dogs and it can be awkward. Staff did offer to help carry the tray.
It would be helpful in the room to have a tray on which to sit a water bowl.
