A basic room, but clean and well equipped. It was next door to food, fuel and grocery outlets. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Very clean and pleasantly decorated room - not large but more than adequate. The room was at the back, away from the road, and very quiet. Staff, very personable and helpful. Dinner was good - quality high, well cooked and more than enough. Likewise breakfast - superb sausage!
Good beer on tap was a bonus.

Lovely stay, staff were very friendly and the rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend this place to any travellers through Winchester.
A charming, cosy English pub, serving locally sourced produce on its modern British menu, and a selection of ales, fine wines, and seasonal cocktails in the bar.

Spa facilities, however, we had realised that the floor would be wet and this concerned us as we are in our mid/late 70's.. Other guests advised us that flip flops were available so eventually we felt safer. We felt that this should have been made clear at pool reception.
Breakfast, lunch and dinners were very tasty with generous portions served by very friendly staff.

The property is meant to be impressive and so it is, you are paying for the building and the lawn in front. Best part is having a drink outside with view of impressive lawn but you don’t have to stay here to enjoy that. I would not stay here again.

Location was great, just outside Winchester in a quiet countryside location. The breakfast was huge and of good quality, allowing the choosing of options from the full english breakfast, also having a vegetarian option. British food at the pub was of good quality.

It does ‘exactly what it says on the tin’: decent quality, reasonably priced, dog friendly accommodation. A big plus is the staff, whom we have always found to be very professional and friendly - and it is reassuring to know it is well supervised and camera-covered overnight.
Friendly welcoming staff.
Dog friendly.
Good location, tricky to get on and off main road.
Car park well lit, monitored at night.
Not expensive.
Close to eateries.
Cheap and convenient. Located at a service station. There are 2 sites (Northbound and Southbound) linked by an access road. Southbound is quiet and has walking access to the local pub which serves good food. Genuinely pet friendly. Although the whole place looks tired and the corridor smells musty the rooms are clean and spacious and come with tea/coffee/TV.
