Three bedroomed bungalow very close to heart of Stromness. Kirkwall about 20 mins drive away. Most of the islands archaeology within a short drive. All you need for a pleasant stay with a few nice touches thrown in.
Found communication very easy and immediate with the owner. Nicely decorated and featured throughout. Parking for 2 cars. Enclosed garden .
Dishwasher and washing machine. Very modern white goods. Hot showers with good water pressure.

Everything, fabulous, clean and beautiful house ideal for everything we wanted as a family group of six and dog. This accommodation and attentiveness of the host was truly exceptional. Easy to find location after a very long journey and close to the ferry terminal on the edge of town. Peaceful and relaxing surroundings for a perfect self-contained holiday experience.

Our dog was welcome
Host was excellent with communication and in helping us
Highly recommend
Kay is a wonderful host and the location is just beautiful, on the Stromness harbour. The room was very clean and comfortable and included a fantastic (vegetarian for us) breakfast. Extra points for the beautiful resident cat 😺
Good location for key Orkney visitor sites, all of which are a short drive away. Fairly modern buildings (perhaps a little over 20 years old ?) which internally are well appointed and in good condition. Comfortable bedroom. Free parking on site. Allowed dog to stay.
fantastic location beautiful views from the hotel across the Loch , great for our dog . The room was very well appointed and the bed large and comfortable with good bedding .
The room was freezing cold not heating in bathroom, when having a show flooded bathroom floor so had to use towels provided.
Bedroom carpet was filthy needs a good shampoo even tho we had a dog it has been the worst hotel we stayed in on the island.
Hole hotel lacked heating breakfast was cold not much of a choice in food.
Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Although they were short staffed, the service provided was excellent. We were given a dog bed for our dog which saved us taking hers in from the car - the weather was pretty wild as the ferries weren’t running. Dinner was very enjoyable and we had a delicious breakfast. The staff are definitely a credit to the hotel.
Great location - great room - had been recently renovate with new carpets and everything. very friendly staff would definately stay there again. Food was exceptional - not what we were expecting!
