We cycled from Belfast and I was pretty tired. The view from the room over the harbour was exceptional, enhanced by a sunny day. Excellent piping hot shower and king size bed. We had dinner - home cooked beef bourguignon which was superb. Quiet at night. Slept like a log! Delicious breakfast the next morning. Great host.

We were the only guests staying for our 2 nights so very personal service and we were upgraded to a bigger room as travelling with our collie. Fabulous choice of breakfast served to order. Homemade breads, jams, compotes available.

Advertised as electric car charging point which was part of a reason for choosing Ballymote. This was available but you will need an adaptor with a 13 amp connection as plug into outside mains.

This is my second stay here & it was stunning as before. You literally cannot get a better property located to the sea. It’s right on the water & it’s so nice to sit relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the sea.

We were made so welcome. We had our dog with us and stayed in the dog friendly room. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The room had a nespresso machine and a great tv in it. The food was beautiful in the bar. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s perfectly situated beside the ferry terminal and close to the beautiful Castle Ward.
