I arrived later than expected but the hosts couldn't have been nicer and even provided me with an evening meal after the local pub stopped serving. The cottage had everything I needed - natural setting, not too warm and not too cold; great breakfast conveniently made earlier than expected, good shower, spacious room. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a few days or more !

Fab little place to stay with our dog for a few nights in the Dales. Tiny (as described) but everything you needed was there, very well thought out. Lovely little village to walk from and explore, no need to use the car and we made use of the handy pub over the road for one breakfast & meal.
Information provided by owners was great, will recommend to family and friends.

The food is of a good standard.
The accommodation is a little cramped but satisfactory.
The staff were extremely helpful, polite, patient and professional (considering the occasion and level of crowding in the pub over that weekend).

The property is located in an idyllic spot in Wharfedale. It’s a large and spacious property with a high standard of fittings, and is kept very clean. Our hosts could not have been any more hospitable and friendly.
The breakfast was great, plenty to eat and as much coffee or tea as you can drink!
Our dog was very welcome, and had
the run of the place, including a large paddock.
Overall, very highly recommended.
It was a delight to stay at Cleveliot House. What an amazing place with 10/10s all round. Excellent location, gardens and brilliant hosts. Breakfast was superb with excellent veg/vegan options. Very dog friendly - the enclosed run-around field was very secure and great fun for the dog. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Very secure parking with remote-control operated gate. We'll definitely be back. We ate at the pub across the road which was also excellent.
We were very impressed with the spaciousness of the cottage. I am allergic to dogs, so I was concerned about the cleanliness of the cottage: that it would be clean enough for me to stay in it. I was particularly concerned about the soft furnishings and the carpets. But, no worries. They were well vacuumed.
We stayed here two months ago, we enjoyed it so much we stayed there again! It is ideally located for walking in the Dales with our GSD & it’s dog friendly. The staff are very helpful & friendly & treat you like old friends. The food is delicious & reasonably priced as are the alcoholic beverages.
Full English breakfast was very good. Well cooked and hot. The pancakes with fresh fruit and hot maple syrup were also delicious.
Bathroom had more space for toiletries than anywhere else we've ever stayed.
Beds were comfortable.
The property was also dog friendly.
This part of the Northern England countryside is just wonderful, the location is thus great. We felt welcomed by the owners, after a long drive. The guest area has a small living room with table, and our 2 daughters were able to play outside with the cats and the dog. The English breakfast was huge, delicious and homemade!
