Guests coming from the south tend to stop off in Blairgowrie (large Tesco), while those coming from the north use the the Co-op stores in Ballater or Braemar. The castle was everything we could have hoped for. The location was amazing, with views of the glens in all directions. The staff were most welcoming and so accommodating. We had supper and breakfast and it was out of this world, so so good. Also enjoyed the evening tasting a number of wonderful whiskies. Would definitely recommend staying here.
